CACA Supper Club with Captain Kamran Irani

We meet at our usual venue, the Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club, Ash Grove, off Weedon Lane, Amersham, HP6 5QU. We enjoy a 3-course meal followed by tea or coffee. (You may bring your own wine or patronise the Rugby Club’s bar.) After the raffle our speaker takes centre stage. This month, former airline pilot Capt Kamran Irani tells us the story behind the bright yellow ‘Blood Bikes’, organised by the charity SERV (Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers). A free service, vital out-of-office-hours deliveries of blood, drugs, hospital equipment, X-rays, etc are made to the NHS and air ambulance charities. The cost is £25. The Chesham Bois branch of Chesham and Amersham Conservative Association is delighted to announce that Johnny Mercer MP, Member of Parliament for Plymouth Moor View, will be the guest speaker at its Annual Dinner. Since 2015, MP for Plymouth Moor and previously serving the nation as a captain attached to 29th Commando Regiment Royal Artillery. His book, “We Were Warriors” is a fascinating read, a memoir of life and his three combat tours. 7pm for 7.30pm being held at The Coriander, Metro Court, Station Approach, Amersham HP6 5AZ.
